Honoring Our Inaugural Youth Council & Welcoming New Leaders

As we celebrate the incredible accomplishments of the inaugural Frederick Youth Council, we extend our deepest gratitude to each member for their leadership, passion, and commitment over the past year. While this first group steps down after setting a strong foundation for youth voice in Frederick County, we’re thrilled to welcome a new group of members ready to continue their legacy and build upon their success.

Throughout their term, the inaugural Council made a lasting impact — from hosting their first community event at New Spire Arts and participating in the design and visioning process for Frederick’s future Youth Center, to meeting with the Mayor and sharing their perspectives on youth engagement. They have represented their peers with integrity, creativity, and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on the 12-to-24 Collaborative and the broader community.

We thank these trailblazers for their dedication and vision, and we look forward to seeing how the next generation of Youth Council members continues to amplify youth voices and shape a brighter future for Frederick County.
